BB > iPhone

I found the best cell phone case. If only I had an iPhone. I haven’t found all that many neat looking BlackBerry cases. But I’ll show you a few I found on google, that have caught my eye. Wooden one’s especially.

I like this one. A lot.

This second one caught my eye — but it looks almost cheaply designed.

Nice, huh?

I don’t have a case for my BlackBerry because those things are indestructible in my opinion. I’ve flicked them across the room unintentionally and they don’t break. Going to the RIM benefit concert when U2 were playing in Toronto, everyone’s blackberries were lit up. One even dropped 20feet from a balcony seat. It fell apart with the back battery was, but it didn’t break. iPhones? I’ve heard about the screen cracking on them just from sitting on them. Not so indestructible.

Remember the days of Nokia? I used to only buy Nokia phones because of their neat size/design/shape and of course durability with my clumsy self. I’ve owned only 2 or 3, and then my company gave me a BlackBerry to use. So for the last 5 years I’ve only known or cared about the BlackBerry — I mean, why research other phones when you’re happy with the one you have?

Do you have a BlackBerry or iPhone? Why did you choose the one you did?

  1. I currently have a 2 year old blackberry pearl, but within a few months I’m planning on upgrading to the iphone. I got the blackberry because it was free when I was doing a hardware upgrade. While I love my blackberry and will miss the keyboard I’m getting sick of doing battery pulls and having the phone constantly freeze, or tell me I have bbm’s and then show me nothing when I log in to check them. It could just be the software that’s on my phone, but I have the latest pearl software installed, so I’ve decided to jump ship. I only have 2 ppl on bbm now since they have all jumped ship for the iphone, so I figured I might as well join.

  2. I prefer the iPhone but my husband is opposite. He prefers a Blackberry. I had a personal BB for awhile, experienced some issues with it, and upgraded to an iPhone. Love. Well, about a month ago I dropped it in the toilet. So I had to use my work Blackberry for everything (typically I don’t use it at all, just have everything forwarded to my personal phone so I don’t have to carry 2 devices). It was a newer BB Bold and I liked it a LOT better than the old Curve, but not enough to give up my iphone. I think it’s just a matter of personal preference. I do think phone case makers discriminate though, they don’t make as many neat cases for the Blackberry it seems.
