Main-attrctinGuys, I love playing with makeup. It’s so fun using bold colours on the lips, and neutrals on the eyes – or vice versa. Usually if I’m experimenting with makeup I don’t often leave the house, because for the most part it comes out terrible (especially the eyeshadow). Now that I’ve watched endless hours of YouTube, I have become a little more comfortable with blending the eyeshadow so it doesn’t look like I have two black eyes (or brown, in my case – since I will never use black eyeshadow. It’s a little daunting!). Luckily bareMinerals have come out with a Main Attraction set where all you need to get ready for a holiday party is some foundation, concealer and this shoe box of goodies.

Thanks to Sephora’s 20% off sale a few weeks ago, I picked up a number of holiday gift sets for friends this year. This one, however, was sent by bareMinerals for my review.

  15. I also love playing with makeup but only during weekends since I just wear minimal or the no makeup look at work. I would like to also try the Lash Domination and see how it will add volume to my lashes. :)

  40. I actually bought that set a couple weeks ago! I started using that mascara a few months ago and love it. I really elongates my lashes. I used the liner and the lipstick and lip gloss so far. I haven’t used the blush yet though. I get a Bare Minerals gift pack each year and have yet to be disappointed.

I do not really ever wear makeup, most recently a random local Mom told me that I am the only person she knows who can look “absolutely gorgeous” without makeup, but every so often I love spicing things up and having some small amount of makeup, this product collection would be perfect for someone like me. To wear occasionally without looking all caked up in makeup!

    1. @Brandy: That’s such a compliment to receive, wow! Nice :) I think if you learn how to apply makeup for your skin type you don’t look cakey. For instance, I cannot use powdered products on my dry face, as it will look matte, dry and not healthy. I stick to lightweight liquid foundations, a smidge of bronzer to warm up my face.
