the long:
I'm Nancy; I have lived in Newfoundland all my life until June 2006 when I decided to take the plundge and move to Ontario.. I'm a private person despite this website of mine. I find it hard to open up to people, but that doesn't usually stop me from being crazy and outgoing. I can be shy! The people, who know me best, find it hard to believe that I am a shy person when I meet someone for the first time, as are most people. I usually don't take that long to warm up to people anymore.

I finished up my 2 year Graphic Design program in Newfoundland, packed up to move to South Western Ontario, and stayed with relatives until I found my own apartment. I have a 31 year old brother who resides in Ireland. He's married to a wonderful girl from Dublin. They live about 45 minutes North of Dublin with his two step-sons, my two nephews who are 2 and 6mths old! Winter 2005, my parents and I headed over to Ireland to visit them all. The massive amount of pictures can be seen in the Photography part of the site.

I am a very random person. I'm quite silly, I love to laugh (occasionally at the wrong time), I cannot lie for the life of me, even if I tried, and maybe that's why I'm so brutally honest with people.

I used to climb in my free time. I've been climbing since 1995 and I used to go 3 - 4 times a week. Unfortunately I can't seem to justify taking 3hrs of time to travel there (1.5hr each way) and climb in a different city, as I don't have a vehicle. I also love to go workout at the gym. I have competitions with myself on the treadmill, and was down to a 7½ minute mile! I play Soccer during the summer, I'm a mid-fielder. I recently went to my first Yoga class. Gotta say, it's pretty hippy-ish - though, I do like it. Even if they do have nap times after class.

I never understood why people just settle for one another. I want someone, who wants me, is my best friend. Falls for me, and never will stop loving me for who I am. Gotta take the shy with the crazy. Most people don't realize what they've got, until it's too late, or gone. Don't take it for granted. I've been hurt in the past, and lately, I take things slow, and learn to believe that someone actually is really into me. I find it hard to get close to someone. I'm somewhat pessimistic about relationships, until someone shows me different. Crazy world out there, take care of your heart.
L i v e.. Moment by moment. Be independent, strong minded, and never give up. No Guts, No Glory! Don't be afraid to let go of the good, and go for the great.
