BECCA Cosmetics has an entire collection of silky smooth highly pigmented bronzers that launched days ago. And well happy early birthday to me folks – I reached out to BECCA and they sent the entire collection. Five new bronzers in my bronzer-wardrobe. My face couldn’t be happier. You know I love to pile on the bronzer, hee hee.
Welcome to my life, BECCA Cosmetics Sunlit Bronzer Collection (affiliate link), whooowee is all I can say. Whoo-wee. I used them for the first time today, as I was filming a YouTube ‘Get Ready With Me’ and went for two of the five colours, first a reddish toned (on me) in the shade, then I followed up with something a bit more on the grey side to finish it up and blend it all in.
I’ll get into details about this in a later post. Any first initial thoughts/questions for me that I can answer in a future post about these? I also wanted to note, the outer packaging on these bronzers are gold rather than the typical silver that BECCA usually tends to do. I’m diggin’ it.
Although Bobbi Brown has left her company, they are still creating incredible products. So far, I’m quite impressed as they recently launched squeezeable lip colours, another fantastic lip product once again. Meet, the new Art Stick Liquid Lips in 16 shades.
The pigmentation is strong with these, just a dab or two on the lips and smooth over your lips with the plastic applicator to blend and will dry down to a semi-matte. Although it’s a thicker consistency, it still glides over the lips and feels lightweight. I gotta say, I’m a fan of the formula as it doesn’t dry out my lips. Plus, it’s long-wearing: Bonus! I did want to note that the few darker shades were definitely a bit streaky hence more difficult to apply evenly.
I was sent 13 of them, and I’m having fun wearing many of the colours in the range. This isn’t the first launch of Bobbi’s Art Sticks, as she previously released these in pencil form (not sure how long ago it was launched, but the Liquid Lip is the newest of the bunch). My favourite nude shades from the Bobbi Brown Art Stick Liquid Lips are both the Honey Bare, and Nude Pink. If I want a bold shade to play around with I’ve been loving Papaya – a bright red-orange!
They’re now available at Bobbi Brown’s site or on Sephora for $28 USD | $35 CDN (Sephora is also currently selling a mini duo in shades English Rose + Uber Red). See all the swatches below plus a fun video at the end of the post.

I went to the Bite Beauty Lip Lab a few months ago (you can read about the experience here). But I thought it was due time to show you the shades actually swatched on my lips, so I did what I tend to do — both a YouTube video (at the end of the post) and post with still photos to pair with it.
As stated in my first post with Bite Beauty, I’m so glad I ended up making a nude colour for my custom lipstick shade, because my second thought was to make a bright red-orange shade. I didn’t realize we were going to get gifted with more product, and the one here in the middle called Cayenne is the exact shade I would’ve created. The formula of all three red lipsticks are in the new Amuse Bouche formula.
My nude is in a matte creme shade, and I’ll be honest, there’s not much difference between the matte creme formula, and the amuse bouche. That’s telling you that the matte’s are comfortable, and not drying on the lips. Win! This is the peachy-nude I came up with:Â
Oof, I just love it.Â
In the lipstick bullets Gazpacho and Cayenne look significantly different, however swatched onto the back of my hand and even on my lips they’re quite similar, on my skintone! Check out the reds, followed by my custom lipstick colour at the end — so exciting!

Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche · Tannin
Bite Beauty Matte Creme · My custom colour!
I immediately had no questions of what colour I wanted to create for myself. I have this Burberry lipgloss in the shade Nude Beige No. 17 that I love, and wear to death – and I wanted to somewhat mimic that shade in a lipstick form with a different finish. So that’s why I ended up getting it in a matte creme — Oh my gosh, I LOVE how it came out, and what a fun experience!
