Let the coupons do the thinking!

http://www.thinkcoupons.ca/index.php

Are you tired of opening a new tab or web browser each time you want to search for your coupons?

Well Boo (from SmartCanucks) and Cassie teamed up and put together a collaboration of websites all onto one fabulous site! I can’t imagine how much work this must have been, especially since it needs constant updating! Cassie plans on running the website (way to go girly!) to make sure it has new coupons and also plans on making it the largest coupon database in Canada! I applaud their hard work, for all of the coupon-hunters out there.

As I mentioned in the first paragraph, Think Coupons has an abundance of websites combined into one-stop place where you can literally find hundreds of coupons from: GoCoupons, Save.ca Coupons, and printables. Basically its a huge database!

You can even search by store, categories, printables, or even “all coupon types” or maybe you want to just search for online deals. Everything is at your fingertips at this ONE STOP SHOP people. No need to go elsewhere! :)

This will definitely save me a lot of time from hunting down the deals myself and going to each individual website. Sigh. I love thee.

Unexpected delays

So I didn’t get to meet up with my bestie, Jenna in Toronto today. It just didn’t work out :( At least I made something of the day and ended up doing a bunch of errands to make up for it.

I also decided to wrap Jenna’s Christmas present and get it ready to mail out in the post since I didn’t get a chance to see her in person. Here is a sneak peak for you Jenna!! hee hee! Obviously I’m going to have it put on an envelope so she can at least unwrap the envelope and put this present under her tree. I plan on wrapping all my gifts in brown paper this year, with colorful ribbon.

Since I was craving sweets, I decided to go ahead and make my Mom’s famous Jube-Jube/Gumdrop cake. It sounds gross, but I promise you it’s delicious. I just literally put it in hte oven not even 4 minutes ago, and I totally forgot to spray the pan with non-stick stuff. Hopefully it doens’t come out in blobs :/ It takes an hour to an hour and a half to cook it. Isn’t that insane?

Stay tuned for photos of my yummy cake! My boyfriend isn’t nearly as excited as I am about this. In fact, he’s not a candy person at all, so it looks like I’ll be either eating this on my own or bringing it into my co-workers on Monday to share.

Now, off to read my bloggies on google reader.

Stuck inside

Today I woke up really late, unintentionally. I’m talking 12:30! I suppose I must have needed the sleep. When I woke up I was in such a cleaning mood but I can’t exactly clean as much as I want to because most of the stuff that needs to be put away is my boyfriends. Mostly PAPER. I hate paper. There’s piles of paper, receipts, envelopes, printed out sheets in every room in this tiny apartment that we use. So today I tried to tackle that job and sort through it and tell him to sort through my pile to see if he wanted to keep anything, otherwise I’m bringing it to work on Monday to get shredded.

It’s still sitting on the couch.

I don’t feel like making anything for supper, so we’re having left overs. I also had to get out of the house today because I just don’t like being cooped up. I tried to not purchase any Halloween candy (we don’t get trick-or-treaters in the apartment building) for myself, and I did well. I ended up purchasing some birthday cards for family members who’s birthdays are at the end of November, and some wonderful toilet paper on sale (how awesome, right?), . Even though I don’t have to pay for toilet paper anymore (hello freebies/coupons from save.ca) I still had a few coupons I wanted to use up before they expired.

I present to you, Royale Bathroom Tissue. Originally $8.47, on sale for $4.99 with two $1 coupons = $3.99 each.

Hopefully that’s not the highlight of my entire weekend ;)
