So. What do you think of the new layout? I’m thinking that it needs more kick. I don’t know what to do with it. I like the color scheme as does a few people I’ve talked to about it. But I’m just not sure. Visually it doesn’t look appealing to me – just yet anyhow. I was talking to a friend who does the Graphic Design program with me [Mark], on MSN about it. I broke the rule. I used threefonts on the main page. ahaha.

I need an idea on how to create my on line portfolio. I’ve got about 50 photos of artwork and portraits. I’m not sure if I want to set them up as 100x100px thumbnails, or have a mini slide show which would be incredibly boring if you don’t want to sit down like me, and watch every freaking photo pass by you every 3 seconds.

I would like to think I’m etiquette conscious about a lot of things. Certain things in this in this 21st century of ours irk me – especially answering cell phones while you’re on a date. I think it’s incredibly rude. On television they were describing it pretty well. Would you take our your laundry, and begin folding your underwear in a restaurant? During a meeting with co-workers, would you yank our your bowl of baby carrots and start gnawing on them? Of course not! But the world is changing and a lot more things in today’s world are becoming acceptable. There’s a time and place for everything, especially cell phones. I mean, if you’re with your best friend who knows your every In’s and outs, then it’s probably fine to answer the cell. But not on a first, or second date hey? I’ve been lucky enough that it hasn’t happened to me yet. I sure hope it won’t either. Otherwise I would say – cyA foo! If I was smart enough anyway.

Whew, I really don’t know where that came from. I’m in the updating mood lately as it looks. I’m trying to get the portfolio up today, scrounging up some ideas on what I should do with it. Comments?? I don’t want it to look typical, and unoriginal. This main page for example. I think it looks unoriginal. But i’m a picky person.

I think I start work tomorrow. Just a few more weeks til I can buy my weekend plane ticket to WaterlooOOo. Stoked behhh.

Be prepared for some major renovations to my website. I’m getting sick of the red, and the girl graphic to your left. I want some of my original artwork on display. There’ll be an online portfolio of my photographs, and illustrations.

I need to take a break. Two nights of drinking til wee hours of the morning took it’s toll on me today. I went to bed at 8 o’clock this morn. Anyway, I’m excited to show you all the new layout. I wish I knew how to use html programs. But alas, I don’t – and I will be coding everything in my hefty notepad. Thanks Windows! :)

Oh yea, more huge news…I’ll be heading up to Waterloo Ontario, a few times this summer. Scott my new boyfriend moved up there. I miss him already.

My birthday was pretty fun. More people showed up than I expected to, even people I haven’t seen in a few years. It was a nice surprise. I didn’t head downtown to go dancing either! I just had people in to my basement and partied til 2am. I went to bed, with people still in my room, I don’t know why I was so tired. hehe!!

I was talking to my brother in Ireland this afternoon. Talking to his two step-children. I’ve only spoken with them twice over the phone. I still haven’t met them yet. I may save up my money and visit them all in August, but I’m not sure yet. My family is supposed to go over in December, but the plan isn’t definite.

I saw the most boring movie of my life last night. Hitch hikers guide to the Galaxy. Oh me jebus, I almost fell asleep. I should have known I wouldn’t like it because I don’t like sci-fi anyway. It’s alright though, I needed a night to relax.
