St. Paddy’s re-cap.

On St. Patrick’s Day I sported my green outfit, and made the BF take photos of me and our pup before work. I didn’t have a chance to post it yesterday since I wanted to show you all my teeth (hehe, is that weird? I don’t care. I’m proud!).

Here is Alfie and I in the “movie room” and I’m standing in front of our huge projector screen. Nice hey? Alfie is not that red, I think the flash turns him red. He’s still sandy colored where the red is showing. I don’t want him to turn too reddish!! The other photos show his natural color.

st-paddysI sent these photos to my parents, and my Mom jokingly wrote back and said she sees more photos of Alfie than she does of her grandsons (which is true).puppersHai Alfie!!

cutie-looking-upIn the photo above, Alfie is looking up at me (being a good pup on his bed). BF is taking pictures of him. Can you see the top left hand corner of his bed all chewed out? When he gets put in his crate he sucks on his bed and eventually bites it — I think he gets sad when he’s in there (aww!!). But it has to be done. Or he’ll destroy the place and injure himself when we’re not home. He’s SO tiny that he fits into the weirdest places. Yesterday morning he launched over the baby gate we have blocking one of the hallways. Uhg. I hope he doesn’t remember that he did that.

puppy-hockey-bagI love this look he’s giving the camera. He’s not allowed on the hockey bag. But it’s where you’ll usually find him lounging, and looking out to the patio. He loves weasling underneath the straps and feeling like he’s strapped into a seat belt. He just hangs out, even if it looks awkward/uncomfortable. It’s funny to look at but when I say “Off!” when he’s on it – he literally jumps off and scurries under the coffee table. He would normally be allowed on it… if he didn’t like to CHEW so much.

Btw, he totally has a loose tooth. How cute!!

I took him out for a walk on St. Paddy’s day during lunch and after work for a good long long walk. I knew it was going to be quite busy on the main roads (where the bars are) but I took him there anyway. I had a bunch of girls come up and oggl’ed and awww’ed at him. Which was cute. But I also got hit on by quite a few youngin’s! I felt like they were all jeuvie’s and wanted to tell them how old I was, and soon will need arthritis treatment but I refrained — smiled and let them think I was there age-ish.

What’s happenin sunday

Funny how you absolutely long for the weekend, but when it gets here you’re too tired to do much. I keep napping during the day. I hate that! Yesterday was just like that and I had so many plans. I did end up making some pancakes and going shopping though, so it wasn’t a total write off.

Today I think while we’re going to do our weekly grocery shopping, I’m going to pick up some multi vitamins as I’m still pretty exhausted even while I’m getting sufficient sleep. Poor Alfie hasn’t gotten enough play time during last work week as I was ill and wanted to sleep as long as possible before going to work.

alfie-bundeled-upHe and I were hanging out in my warm Banff hoody last night. He was so content here for a good half hour, not budging, just sitting out in my hoody, chillin and being a good pup. He even poses for the camera! HAHA

I was in dire need of some new black shoes since my $19 P.O.S. black flats from Reitmans just weren’t cutting it anymore. Who knew they sold shoes!? I never step inside that store, but there’s one in the mini-strip mall where I buy our groceries and glanced in once, when I was walking by and saw some cute ones, so I bought them. Needless to say they didn’t even last a year — figures as much.

I had a gift card since Christmas and I still hadn’t spent it, so I went to WINNERS! Picked up these beauts.

shoes2I’m actually not 100% on them just yet. They look so narrow, and I wanted flats. These are wedges. We shall see though. I guess they’ll grow on me!

shoes1RW&Co had some cute tops, got this one for twenty dollas. I like the square neckline of this one. It also looked more orange in the store, which was nicer.

topI went into Old Navy looking for a hot pink cardigan for super cheap, but they were more expensive than the ones sold at Jacob! Uh, no thanks. But I saw they had some $10 scarves on sale. Not bad not bad! Nice for summer?

scarfI contained myself and only bought one, even though I had five in my hands. Also I realize my mirror looks nasty, apologies go out to the dollar store windex.

OOH! Erin had her baby boy the other night! Go see the cute pics on her site/twitter! I can’t get over how much a baby can look like someone — because he’s identical to her. His nose, and eyes — even though I have only seen like two pics… i swear I can tell lol.

3.2 second bid

uuuuuuhhg

My at work to-do list is so long, and that’s only the stuff on the top of my head! I guess that’s what happens when one is off sick for two days in a row. At least it’s FRRRIIIIDAY and best yet? Payday!

Remember how I talked about Ebay being pure evil? It’s okay, I have decided that I am putting a limit on items that I want. If I really wanted something that bad, I would have placed my bid like everyone else does — 3.2 seconds before the bid ended. Sneaky sneaky people. I ordered two shirts from two different ebay sellers and the one that I thought was going to be too small, fits perfectly fine.

My ebay auction is still going on until Monday afternoon. Would anyone be willing to buy from an ebay seller (ahem, me) that has zero feedback from selling anything? I have a few positive feedback from purchases, but not many as I’m only now getting used to working the whole thing. If it doesn’t end up selling I may give it away on here!

It’s this Lululemon Run: Race Tech tank top in size 8, so it’d fit a person Med/Large.

On my first top (that I kept) I asked the woman to not charge me much on shipping, coming from Florida. She estimated $9.00 shipping. I asked her to drop it to $5.00, but she said she shipped a package “to Canada” and it cost her $8.75. Well well well, when my package arrived the price on the sticker said $2.30!! What a jip. I was disappointed, but not in my top! My top is SUPER cute. Ya?

I won these Lululemon Empower crops, only because the highest bidder who outbid me again in the last 3.2 seconds couldn’t pay for the item so I got a second chance. If only there were a second chance on wedding programs that I have absolutely no use for that looked so nice, but were ridiculously priced! The crops haven’t arrived yet, they’re coming from British Columbia.

I think I’m obsessed. At least I’m only spending my paypal money? So much for No Buy Month…not that I said I was going to do it for March, but still.
