Adorable toddler shoes

This past weekend I received some sweet Saturday mail. Some new kicks for a little stylish toddler. The 5 pairs of boots I picked out for bebs were gifted to me from BOBUX. Full transparency, they supplied me with a gift card and I ended up getting a few different sizes for him to grow into. So although they may look like it they’re not all the same size.

These leather boots are simply gorgeous quality. I picked all the hightops for him since he’s a semi-new walker and tends to trip easier if he wears lower sneakers. By the way if you don’t know what size your kiddo it in right now, BOBUX has an online shoe size guide to help measure your kids feet and find the perfect size. I already knew his size but I set him up anyway, snapped a shot of his foot and it correctly told me his size! Impressive.

If you’ve never heard of this brand before let me give you a quick run-down: Bobux is a company from New Zealand and endorsed by podiatrists. The shoes are of course adorable and stylish, but they’re incredibly functional, and easy for kids to walk in, as the soles are rubber – meaning they’re not stiff and really allow the child to move and play easily. Run your little heart out @minikerms!

Oh, and they also offer free shipping on all US orders (and also great sales 👌🏻).

The website is huge and caters to all kids, from newborns, crawlers, new walkers, toddlers, preschoolers and kids. I shopped mainly on the new season of the toddler page.

These yellow ones are so sweet. They’re actually from the waterproof collection. Paddington Yellow ($70)

Jodhpur Black ($65)

Jodhpur Red ($65)

Desert Navy ($65)

Signet Denim (on sale for $45 from $65)

Adorable right? I saved a highlight reel on my instagram page (under Bobux) if you wanted to see more pictures and videos. I’ll be tagging the brand when he wears them out and the photos aren’t blurry….because he’s a busy toddler on the constant move!

Thank you again to Bobux.

Outfit of the Day: Oct 2, 2019

Second of October, wouldja look at the time fly by. We’re already organizing our Christmas card photos since we’d like to have them mailed out a little earlier since most of them go to Canada and I’d like them to arrive before Christmas. Similar to last year we’re going to do them ourselves with a tripod set up in a specific location I’ve scouted out for us this year. Let it be a tradition, I say!

So, another OOTD post. You bored of them yet?

This time I’m comin’ atcha with a new feature – these vegan boots I got as a PR sample. They’re the Luana bootie made by Arcopedico.

Like ’em? I sure do. I got a size 9 and I think if they did half sizes I’d definitely size up. I don’t usually wear socks in my shoes, but come winter time I would and I think I’d need some extra room in there if I’m wearing socks.

How has everyone been? Thanks for sticking around all these months while I tried to figure out what to do with the ol’ blog. I knew I didn’t want to turn it into a full-blown mom-blog since I prefer not to talk much about my son online, or show his face/name. But occasionally I’ll update you on his fun adventures. For now, I’m trying to find the best time to sit down and write a post, and what type of posts – OOTD/Beauty related etc. I’m not sure.

Anyway let’s get onto a few more outfit photos, then the outfit details.

This next pic is a more of Instagram vs. Reality. I don’t have a vase for my pampas grass yet, and so I put this one stalk in a giant pot hoping it’d stay put for my photos (which it clearly didn’t since I’m holding it in most the pics). Hence my frustrated face trying to fix it while my self-timer shots kept going on.

Outfit details:
Sweater: Universal Threads by Target. I’m usually a small/medium but I stuck to the small for this sweater. The medium made the sweater too frumpy
Leggings: Forever 21 high wasted. Junk leggings that I need to keep haulin’ up. I’ll keep wearing until they wear out because I hate wasting money.
Booties: Arcopedico (linked above!)

Outfit of the Day: Sept 23, 2019

All black was my go-to for the past year. But it never really suited me as much as earthy tones does. So in the next few upcoming OOTDs I’m bringin’ it back. For now, enjoy an all black ensemble.

I also realized it’s much easier (obviously) to take my outfit photos when he’s napping.

Outfit details:
Tank: Old Navy (they seem to bring this one back every year). I bought it in a size large and wore it while pregnant. Now I use
Leggings: prAna. These have lasted me 3+ years. I wear them at least 2-3 days a week, wash them in hot. Slapp’em in the dryer. Wash them in cold. Doesn’t matter, they don’t shrink, they don’t pill. They were a PR sample years back, but such a good piece. In fact, all my prAna clothes (which were mostly all PR sent/gifted) are fantastic quality that wash even better and still look brand new for years to come.
Shoes: Vince
Bag: Neiman Marcus
