Want to be a Tweezerman Ambassador?

Weeks ago I notified you all about becoming a Tweezerman Ambassador, free of charge. Anyone with a blog/youtube channel could sign up. I’m not sure if they’re still accepting applicants but it doesn’t hurt to try. I showed photos of what arrived in my little parcel from Tweezerman and today I’m going to show you some better, up close photos of them all.

Sneak peek of the Tweezerman Ambassador package.

Tweezerman Ambassador package.

I remember when the Tweezerman set first came in. I had just literally waxed my eyebrows with the Parissa waxing kit that I reviewed on my blog, the night before! So it’s been a slow process to actually be able to test out these sharp lil’ tweezers.

I’m definitely not going to be keeping six pairs of tweezers. In fact, I was supposed to bring a couple home to Newfoundland to give away to my Mom and some friends. But I seriously forgot. I’ll be mailing down a package to them in the next little while, with a few extra goodies stored inside… so it’s not like I’m mailing just tweezers down to them. “Hey, get a hint!!” haha, right?

Tweezerman tweezers are known for being very sharp. The sharpest of the sharp. It can get those invisible hairs no trouble, and even the smallest ones that are only visible by a 10x zoom’ed mirror. All you ladies own one of them. I know you do.

I already have a small yellow Tweezerman set of tweezers that I purchased off of ebay for about $6.00. I don’t think I got a deal on them, since I saw them at Sally’s Beauty Supply for a little less, or the same price. But whatever. I’ve had them for years and they still work great. But it’s not as sharp as my new ones. But I think it needs a good sharpening.

You can mail away your tweezers to get them sharpened for free. I think Tweezerman is the only company that offers this, but I’ve never received a notification as to where I can actually mail the piece out. Does anyone know? Tweezerman Ambassador tools. I had a try at coloring in my eyebrows with the supplied double ended pencil shown above. I had a field day over the weekend building up some bold brows on myself. But didn’t take any photos. Sorry! I’m not a pro at it yet, so I’m still practicing. I dislike that Tweezerman has a pencil you have to sharpen, instead of a lead twist up, similar to the Brow Wiz by Anastasia. I feel like I’ve never been the best pencil sharpener around, thus wasting product.

The Tweezerman Ambassador kit also comes with an eyelash curler in ROSE GOLD.

It also has a couple of extra replacement pads. After pushing down on your curler everyday for months on end, it doesn’t get the best curl anymore. Just simply pop out the old pad with a new one, and it’ll seem like a brand new eyelash curler.

This isn’t a sponsored blog post. Anyone can become an Ambassador in fact — go ahead and sign up to become a Tweezerman Ambassador too!

OOTWW

My “OOTWW” Outfit of the work week features my super fun assistant Patrick! Patrick is working with me for the summer here at work from a local University. He’s on twitter too, so follow him! I’m trying to get him to write some male fashion blog posts for spiffykerms. He’s a fantastic writer for us here at work, and I’m sure he’ll do just as an amazing job writing blog posts for me. Muhaha…

We went to Menchie’s yesterday during lunch – a frozen yogurt place that I blogged about a few weeks ago. Isn’t he adorable? My Boss and I always just “awww” at him lol. I’m sure he loves it.

His Wednesday’s OOTD consists of:

Shirt: Gap
Tie: H&M
Pants: Gap
Shoes: Payless
Eyeglasses: Lacoste

Lululemon quality: sub par

Late last month I made an online purchase on Lululemon’s website. I picked up the Swiftly Racerback tank in the color blush pink. I can’t stay away from the nice designs and colors they come out with. But I’m reassured when I get a quality issue error on one of my new items that I just opened. I now remember why I stopped shopping there.

I mean sure the photo doesn’t make it seem like a huge deal. If I chop off that thread, there will be a hole where there shouldn’t be a hole. When you spend your hard-earned $48 on a tank top, you’d expect it to be in pretty top-notch condition when it arrives on your door step.

This has happened to a few items of my pairs of my Lululemon capri’s after wearing them once the inseams came undone on them. What the heck is going on with you Lululemon? Bring back the “Made In Canada” and stop sending everything overseas.

I e-mailed the GEC at lululemon, as I have already saved their e-mail address in Gmail. I also brought it to twitter, of course. Got some responses like the swiftly line has no room for error. Which I agree. It could snag easily if you’re not careful. I know that, due to the fact I already own two swiftly tech tee’s and they’re in perfectly good condition, especially at two years old.

Lululemon heard me on Twitter (@spiffykerms) and gave me the telephone number to GEC in Vancouver. I called and told them that I e-mailed GEC earlier and she brought up the photos. Without hesitation she said she was going to send me a sticker so that I can mail the parcel back to Lululemon without me paying anything out of pocket. Free returns for damaged items, good on them I say!

Here is the parcel, all ready to be mailed off! My hand is covering the tracking number and my return address.

Unfortunately, just days after I placed the order the Swiftly Tech racerbacks are no longer online. So I can’t get another one of them, and there isn’t a Lululemon store around here that sells the racerbacks. We have a personal training area that sells Lululemon but not the Swiftly tanks. Bummer.

I guess I’ll be shopping at Costco more often now for workout gear. Check out my Lululemon Vs. Costco workout apparel blog post I did back in March.
