OOTWW

Do you like my new pink cardigan (Wednesday’s outfit) I picked up last weekend?

I was in the mall on Sunday picking up my Sephora freebie for Earth Day. You simply just brought in any empty cosmetics container and exchange it for a full sized Origins facial moisturizer. So while I was in the mall I was browsing around. I happened to walk by the Gap and go in, hoping they had a striped blazer since I saw one on a fashion blog last week. They didn’t have it, but I did notice they had a 40% off the lowest ticketed sale items, so this beaut was $29.00 minus 40% off. Do the math! A pretty fab deal if you ask me. It’s quick thick and has such a wonderful quality feel to it. I paired it with my ever so favorite $12.95 H&M top. I’m going to go back to H&M and see if they have any more left in my size. I don’t want to be out a cute top if I happen to ruin it at all. Plus, it’s such a steal at $12.95!

I’ve also been loving, stacking bracelets. Whether it be sterling silver bracelets, or gold. Love them both. I’ll share with you a new jewelry site I came across from watching a few YouTube videos, next week with you all :)

Canadian taxes aren’t due until April 30 and the boyfriend and I just finished ours a few nights ago. I don’t know why I’m so slack with doing them, I mean it’s not like I have to pay in or anything – I always get a nice return! Have you filled yours out yet? Also! (Jeeze I’m chatty today) what is everyone doing this lovely weekend? Answer below, I love hearing all about you guys :)

Under Armour Gotta Have It Bra

Yep you got that right folks. I’m back with another sports bra review from Under Armour. This time I won’t be showing you all, not-so-revealing photos of myself sportin’ the sports bra.

Here she be, freshly washed.

Under Armour — Women’s Gotta Have It Sports Bra. ($29.99 CDN)

I didn’t take photos of it when it was brand new with the tags on it, because I completely forgot. They are long gone now, but if you want more information about it, it’s all available online.

Women’s Gotta Have It Sports Bra by Under Armour

This bra isn’t as high impact as some of the other bras that I currently own. But I knew that from the very beginning. As mentioned in my previous review, I wore this bra to CrossFit many times as well and get this — without a hitch! I’m loving this hot pink bra much more than other one I was sent from Under Armour.  I had issues with that one riding up on the base of my neck. Where as this one wasn’t as high cut. I gladly pointed out the flaws and issues I had with the other bra, even if the review wasn’t the most positive. I hope that I could help out in some way if they ever do a re-design of it. Right?

Anyway back to my lovely pink bra.It has the perfect height, to go along with the perfect colored bra.

Here is the inside of the bra. No extra padding and since I’m small chested I don’t need an extreme amount of support, so this type of sports bra works fine for me.

As for any color bleeding off of the super hot pink fabric itself? I don’t own any light colored tank tops with the exception of this Lululemon one, but didn’t notice any of the dye bleeding at all. Which of course, is great.

Have you tried anything from Under Armour before? What are your thoughts, if you have?

The shellac experience number 2

My co-worker and I went to get our nails done on Friday during our lunch break.

I got my second shellac manicure done. The last time I had these things on my nails was back when I went to California last summer.

Oh mojito memories.

When I first went into the salon with L, I was a bit nervous because I didn’t spot a color that I absolutely adored. I wanted something like I had in the photo shown above. In fact, I was wearing my own nail polish while I was picking out the colors. It’s one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE colors to wear on my nails. A nice neutral white/pink, called Pink Slip by  Sally Hansen. I discovered this color from a receptionist at a hair salon once. I adored the color so much I had to ask what she was wearing on her nails. I went out and bought it the next day.

Did I mention it was my all time favorite color?

Well, when I went into the salon and the woman was trying to find a dupe for what I was already wearing on my nails. To no avail, she then convinced me to get this one color put on my nails. I cannot tell you how picky I am with nail polish colors. But,  of course we were on a limited time frame as it was our lunch hour. She picked out this pearl/opal color and said it looked way better than the nail color I had on previously. Oh, thanks for your opinion lady. P.S I hate this opal color already. (Not really).

It was the same brand of shellac (CND) that was used on my nails. But I’m not the biggest fan of pearl/opal colors. My Aunt wears it on her fingernails and always has. She’s in her late 70’s now and I just associate opal nail polish with….old ladies.

In certain light it looks like nothing on my nails, and other times it looks shiny. See above? Oh that nail polish! Such tricksters.

Then when I went to pay, she kept holding my hand and looking at my nails saying her color looked better than my all time favorite color that I had on when I walked in.

I’m sure the shellac will last a really long time and it is…kinda pretty. My co-worker gets hers done there regularly and it still looks perfect after 16 days of wear and tear. I also know that I could also request that she bring in that exact milky pink CND polish I had done last summer. I just wanted to tell a little story today, and maybe rant a little. hee hee! :)
