Wow, jeeze. The feedback I received from everyone on twitter, instagram and the comments from The Results of Paleo were phenomenal and made me smile! Thank you for making me feel awesome inside and out :)
Does everyone have weekend plans? Tell me them. Today we have two more second interviews to go through and then we’re done. I think. I’m excited to see what today brings, but that’s all I’ll say about that.
As for the weekend, I’m actually getting my hair dyed tonight after work. I spotted some grey hairs behind my ears so I panicked and booked an appointment immediately. lol There’s no way I’m going to have grey hairs poking out of my head anytime soon. How depressing.
I plan on going to Toronto with the Boyfriend at some point and then on Sunday we’re going to drive to Guelph to see some of my family. Including the almost due with her first baby cousin Vanessa! That’s exciting :)
Onto the outfits from the work week. My favorite would’ve been yesterdays outfit if I could have found that shrug cardigan I planned on wearing. But I couldn’t. So it was all over the place. Either way, here you go and I’m now off to work!
Yeah, you heard that right. eos now makes shave cream! eos kindly sent these two bottles of shave cream my way, for reviewing.
The sun is shining, and it’s about dang time to show off those legs. Shave your legs with eos’ shave cream and slap on some self tanner and you’re ready for spring.
Dare I say this is better than the smooth sphere lip balms? To be honest, the smooth sphere lip balms by them aren’t my top pick. My co-worker Julie has five or more and adores them. Anytime I’m in her office she stops to apply a bit. She goes through them like buttah. To each their own. My preference is their hand cream, and now their shave cream.
eos always comes out with unique packaging. From their hand creams, and smooth sphere lip balms to this plastic velvety coating of a bottle with a decent pump for easy application.
The bottle is made out of plastic meaning it won’t leave those terribly annoying rust stains on the edge of your tub. Why can’t all companies jump on this plastic shave cream wagon?
You see, if I run out shave gel, I usually resort to using a few pumps of conditioner on my legs. The eos shave cream is similar in consistency to conditioner where as it will not foam up on your legs. Don’t let that deter you from trying it out though. These bottles of shave cream are packed with natural conditioning oils and shea butter for that added softness and moisture on your legs which will soften and soothe your skin for a full 24 hours. I can attest to that.

Shown above are the two of the three scents available to Canadians. I know there’s much more variety in the states. Pomegranate Raspberry which smells so good I kind of wanted to eat it. Dangeous. Then the white classic looking bottle is a sensitive – Fragrance Free (Hypoallergenic & Dermatologist Tested). These products are not tested on animals, and contain no animal by-products.
The eos shave creams are now available for $3.99 at:
•  Rexall •  London Drug •  Loblaw’s •  Jean Coutu •  Uniprix
I’m very particular about my hair, and I have been taking great lengths (heh) to keep it healthy since January 2012. Right now I’m washing it 2-3 times per week. I end up washing my hair on Tuesdays, Thursdays and sometimes (most likely) Saturdays.
The night before I know I’m going to wash my hair, I coat the ends with Josie Maran argan oil then sleep with my hair in a high pony. I go through my regular hair washing routine which is grab any type of shampoo that I see in the shower and use it.
Upon stepping out, I wrap my hair up in a towel and let it set until it’s just about dry. From then I use a wooden wide tooth comb that I bought at The Body Shop more than a few years ago. Sometimes I take my time and I graze through my hair ever so gently with the comb. Others? I’m ravenous and in a hurry and just comb from top to bottom. Tsk tsk tsk, I know ladies. There’s always a concern with my delicate hair — it breaks sometimes since it’s so fine! I cringe, hunch, and make a sour face when I hear my hair get stuck in my wooden wide tooth comb and I hear this “SNAP”. Dangit! I tried so hard this wash. All I can do is clean off the comb and try to be more careful. Next time.
I don’t like my reviews to be all positive, and saying everything I review is the bee all end all. I do have a con about the Initialiste, it’s expensive – you can’t doubt that. Would I buy it myself for that price?
