Before enrolling in my Graphic Design program I used to play in Adobe Illustrator for hours and hours, trying to perfect that damn pen tool. I took night courses in Illustrator while working during the day while I was on the waiting list to get into school. Sadly, I haven't kept up with Illustrations as much as I used to and even though I do use Illustrator on a daily basis at work, I just wish I had more time to do gradient mesh's and just.... draw for a whole day in there. A whole day! Think of it. [Click to view illustrations]

I have gone through copious amounts of digital cameras, only for them to break. I am currently using a very low-end Canon point and shoot. I have yet to purchase an SLR, which fortunately for me will be sooner rather than later. As previously mentioned I guess you could assume that I'm a Canon fan, and will most likely taking advantage of the mega Future Shop Boxing Day Sales on December 26th. I can't wait to buy all the fancy lens', I don't know which to buy first. I know I'll have a grand time snapping away a Sunday afternoon, with a new SLR in hand...one of these days. I never thought I would be a print designer. I attended a Graphic Design school that took two years to complete. Web design was my favorite part and I excelled in it pretty well. Prior to my current job I was a junior web designer at a company for about eight months -I learned a lot during that time, and I take it all into account when I'm browsing online fishing for inspiration. I now work at a Credit Union as the very first, and only designer they have. It's quite exciting bringing new fresh ideas to the table. Though occasionally I wish I had another designer with me to bounce ideas off of, but for now - I will take all of the fun jobs and design what I think appeals the young (and old) eye. Love web design. Love coding. Love designing. Love coming up with layouts. I've always been interested in web design. As a teenager I was coding my own websites and teaching myself HTML in good ol' notepad. When I went to school I finally learned how much more convenient it is to use Dreamweaver. I haven't had much work experience as a web designer, but I'm keeping up to date as much as possible at work. Taking online courses etc. [Click to view webdesign]
