Trip to Los Gatos | POM Friday

I admit, I was a little stumped as to where to take Alfie the past 2Â weeks for another POM Friday post, but I knew that Los Gatos was quite pretty and I hadn’t been there in a while (besides my regular trip to Blvd Coffee one of my fave coffee spots).

The first stop Alfie and I made was to Los Gatos Creek Trail, but when I pulled into one of the many entrances, I noticed there was a daily parking fee, so after taking a quick few photos, I swung around andÂ drove awayÂ to explore the city a little more. While I don’t mind paying the parking fee, I knew I wouldn’t be there for very long and didn’t think it was worth it for 5-10 minutes.

Next stop on our afternoon adventure was to the Los Gatos Public Library. It’s nestled right in front of a woodsy area, so I actually walked around the grounds for a while, with Alfie (and of course getting him to pose for some photos), heeh!

I have a 2016 Mazda 3 hatch to review for the week (quite an update from my 2007 Mazda 3 hatch!) so expect more photos of it on here and on social over the next week, while I go cruisin’ around in ‘er! Some stylin.

A Tangle Teezer Update

This time last year I wrote about Tangle Teezer vs. Drybar‘s lemon drop. I thought I’d update you on how things are going with that; in case you cared.

To jump right into it, I’m still using both on an everyday basis. Since I don’t wash my hair regularly (I wash it every 2-3 days), I am reaching more towards the tangle teezer to brush in my dry shampoo mostly. But when I do wash my hair, I blow dry it with the Drybar brush. They both have a purpose in my hair routine. I’ve now integrated a compactÂ Tangle Teezer that I received for review. I said yes, because I’ve seen them sold at stores and I was curious as to why they’d market a travel friendly size tangle teezer when the regular size travels just as well. Um and look at the enormous selection of colours to choose from! I stuck with a classic black, since I already own a hot pink one.

MAC Good Luck Trolls Collection

What a flashback to my early teen’s!

Who was a collector of little furry headed naked little trolls? Haha! I loved them so much, my Mom at one point told me I had too many and needed to get rid of some. I guess it’s pretty much the only thing I remember collecting as a kid (besides coins).Â I now only have 3 little trolls left in my ‘collection’ and I knew I kept’em for good reason. The perfect prop for the new MAC Good Luck Trolls Collection which is only available until September 15!
