ColourPop x Hello Kitty

ColourPop Hello Kitty collabColourPop x Hello Kitty have a limited edition collaboration going on right now! And I have 9 lip products to swatch and show you!

So, I hadn’t tried ColourPop until this collection was sent over to me (for review) – and holy smokes, I now get the reason why people go hog-wild over their products. Before trying them out I seriously thought they’d just be an okay product, and at $6.00 some people were comparing them to high-end dupes. I have to tell you, that my favourite formula of any of the products listed below, was most definitely the Lippiestix in the matte formula.

I said this in the YouTube video (linked down below) that these literally feel like absolutely nothing on your lips. Like, fresh lips. That’s what the product feels like when you wear it. I’ve never had that experience before with a lip product. Strange, right? Guess you won’t know until you try it for yourselves. And if you HAVE tried them out, do you feel the same way that I do?

Anyway, the collaboration is just as you’d expect, cute and fun with tons of pink and adorable names from Hello Kitty. Let’s get into the swatches (and the video!)

Too Faced | Passport to Bronze

Header-Passport-to-BronzeGuys, even before moving to California I had a love for bronzers. I probably know more about bronzers than anything else makeup related (okay I do have to say I love my mascara’s too).

Since I’ll be flying home for Christmas and have taken a few more flights than usual with events this past year, I’ve somehow randomly became an insanely light packer when it comes to my makeup bag. I’m no pro or anything, but I do love mini-sized items not only to try out and potentially not waste my money on products I wouldn’t have enjoyed, but it also helps lighten the load and be able to cart around a smaller makeup bag.

Too-Faced-PassportI mean, look how slim it is! Sure it’s tiny — but bronzers last me for ever, anyway. So this would most definitely do you for a Christmas vacation or an extended one at that! The packaging isn’t filmsy feeling, and it clicks shut. The only thing I wish it wasn’t, was smelling like chocolate. Sure it appeals to many people but I don’t like my products smelling like food.

Too-Faced-BrushThe kit also includes a fairly decent brush, called the Teddy Bear Hair Flatbuki Brush.

Passport-to-BronzePassport to Bronze is a limited edition deluxe bronzing collection of three of Too Faced best selling bronzers: Chocolate Soleil, and Milk Chocolate Soleil. They also added in their original Sun Bunny Natural Bronzer, plus a Teddy Bear Hair Flatbuki Brush. Adorable.

What are some of your most favourite/used makeup items? Like I said above, I love my bronzers and mascaras!

4 Natural Skincare Brands I’m loving

OseaMalibuOsea Malibu|Based in Malibu California, it’s a small family owned business that has hit success. Osea Malibu Vegan Skincare line is all natural and made in the US. See my review here.

Indie-Lee-ClearingIndie Lee| I’ve raved about Indie Lee many a time on my blog and social channels. Read my review of the products here.

True-Botanicals

True-Botanicals-SPFTrue Botanicals| True Botanicals is a non-toxic, organic skincare brand. Everything is made with all natural and organic ingredients, and the fragrance is made from essential oils and plants only. Their packaging, aesthetic, and the products are so gorgeous down to the brown glass bottles that I definitely want to re-purpose once the product is all used up. Since the shampoo and conditioner is made of natural ingredients, you might be surprised when you jump in the shower and notice it does not lather your hair up. Shampoos shouldn’t lather your hair! It’s only damaging. The conditioner leaves my hair feeling silky on my dry/fine hair. If you’re looking for a nourishing toxin-free, this duo is definitely for you. Not to mention the silver bottles makes any shower-ledge look chic.

FHFFarmhouse Fresh| Ok. Blogger fail on the FHF products. They were travel mini sized creams, and I used them immediately within the first month that I got them, and I cannot believe I didn’t photograph them. So, you get this stock photo instead. Apologies! These were so nourishing on my body and smelled fantastic. They were mini-funzo-sized creams so they didn’t last long but I enjoyed them! The set I had was the a Skin Saviors trio: Shea butter-enriched body and hand creams, including Whoopie! Cream whose aroma recalls delicious Southern cakes, Rainbow Road which has a coconut and Bartlett pear fragrance and is meant to inspire or uplift those going through a difficult time in life, and Fluffy Bunny which playfully recalls a Southern mint julep. Mmm!
