When this is cooking, it smells really BBQ-y, but the BBQ smell doesn’t overwhelm your tongue with BBQ taste. It’s actually pretty mild, as I don’t really like BBQ flavoring on a lot of things, but decided to try this one out…soo here we go!
INGREDIENTS
2 pork chops (Boneless) cut into strips
¼ cup Asian Sesame dressing
¼ cup Plain BBQ sauce
1 carrot, sliced
¼ of a bell pepper, sliced into strips
(add any other veggie’s you would like)
DIRECTIONS
- Put a pot of water on the boil for the rice
- Start cooking 2 pork chops in a pan on medium heat
- Mix up the Asian Sesame dressing and BBQ sauce. Pour into skilet with pork.
- Add carrots (longer cooking veg) to skillet, then add the bell peppers once everything is nearly done. The bell peppers only need to be cooked for a couple of minutes. By this time the water for your rice should be boiling
- I cook my basmati rice for 11 minutes (still boiling). I measure off ¾ of an average sized mug filled with rice, and it will serve two people
- Serve rice, pork and your delicious veggies. It’s that quick!
