On Thanksgiving ColourPop launched two new eyeshadows called Puppy Love, and Cat Nap. But the best thing about these launches is that all the proceeds from these eyeshadows are going to support Best Friends Animal Society. Through the NKLA (stands for: no-kill LA) they are working to make Los Angeles a no-kill city. They are the only national organization that are dedicated to ending the killing of dogs and cats in American shelters. You can support the charity by purchasing any of the two shades for $5.00 each, on ColourPop’s website.
The formula of the two super shock eyeshadows are the same (as is the price) but the packaging has an added bonus on it with a limited edition paw print on it, for the NKLA x ColourPop collaboration.
Before these arrived to me, I haven’t tried ColourPop’s eyeshadows before (only their lip products). I was surprised how cushiony and soft they were… and easy to swipe with my finger. It’s almost like the products are cream-based, but not. Know what I mean? The shade Puppy Love (the lighter of the two) didn’t show up well in the photograph, but on the back of my hand it’s a pink-gold iridescent shade that reflects the light beautifully. I’m pretty sure Puppy Love could definitely double as a highlighter shade. Try it out!
