This site cracked me up, 100 thoughts we’ve all had while shopping at Sephora.  I found it on BuzzFeed last night and thought most of it was pretty true.

68 thoughts we’ve all hand when applying make up is also pretty funny but similar.

Can anyone else attest to that? So funny!

Not so ironically, I was at Sephora today. If I don’t hurry in and hurry out with my intention to only buy the things I had on my list, I definitely get sucked into the Sephora vortex. So many fun things, I find it dangerous to just browse. But they were having the VIB 15% off everything today! I needed go to in, to get the free make up bag with purchase, no? Anyone go in just for free shi- too? I really didn’t even need anything to be honest. But whoaaaa if you’re having a rare sale, I’m in.

Sephora VIB haul

My Sephora online order finally came in. I went shopping in the store but ended up wanting to buy a big ol’ size bottle of the Purity cleanser. I heard that it came with a pump if you got the largest one. But mine didn’t end up shipping with one. So maybe they don’t do it anymore?

I had just gotten back from my girls weekend down in the USA and the next few days later, Sephora e-mails us VIB card-holders telling them we get 20% off anything and everything. Well goodie. I saved some dollars down in the states buying a few things. But I could save a lot more buying even MORE stuff from the sale. So that’s exactly what I did.Sephora-VIB-sale

I had nothing on my list to buy. But I certainly went out and got a lot of things for something I didn’t really need. Oops?

Sephora VIB haulage

A few weeks ago I got an e-mail for the lucky VIB’s that we get a gift with a $35 purchase. Basically, that’s all I needed to hear and I was in. I printed off the e-mail immediately and my co-worker L and I headed off on our lunch break to the local mall and hit up Sephora.

Since I’m a huge fan of Philosophy’s products, or is it the cute packaging that gets me every time? Either way, I picked up this terrific smelling body wash and body lotion set.

Despite me being a candy addict. I dislike anything that smells like food. Philosophy has some new body washes out that smells like Chocolate, and Fizzy soda pop – which smells good if I could eat it. But I don’t thin I’d like to rub that over my body. Then again, I have no qualms about rubbing something that smells like a lime margarita over me in the shower. Who knows. Maybe I just like to stick to my citrus scents, and fresh scents.

This one leans more on the citrus side of things with Pineapple and Coconut infused in it.

I also picked up a nail file, and received some freebies in my bag with my purchase. Benefit Hello Flawless foundation and a Kate Somerville exfoliator.

All tucked away into a little silver Sephora makeup bag. The bag isn’t the best of quality, which doesn’t bother me, seeing as I have a ton of mini make up bags. It feels like paper, and would rip in a second. I do love the striped lining in it though!
