Monday Mayhem

Woke up on the wrong side of the bed this a.m. As always, I wake up a bit earlier than I’d like to in the mornings just to spend time with the puppy before he has to be locked up in his cage til lunch time. This morning I was so tired that I ended up hitting snooze a few more times and woke up a half hour before I get ready. He usually gets about 2 and a half hours of play time if I wake up at 6. But 7:30 I rolled my arse outta bed and woke up Alfie.

I slept on the couch while he played.

I decided to get my shower at my usual time: 8:00. I was in the shower yawning, cleaning my hair, thinking “I went one whole day without washing my hair. It can’t be THAT dirty, can it?” My hair wasn’t lathering. So I picked up the bottle and tried washing my hair again. Oh well, guess I need to switch up my shampoos. I leaned over to grab my conditioner, and picked up the other matching bottle from Aveda and noticed it said shampoo.

WTF? I was washing my hair twice with conditioner this morning, and conditioned it with shampoo. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

I got out and got ready. Today is stupid. So i leave you with some fun stuff.

Since talking about a store that reminded me of Anthropologie, I decided to actually go on Anthropologie’s website and have a gander…see what they have new in stock.

Fell in love with a bunch of pieces, as always. Posting my favorites.

These crazy pink heels also caught my eye, except I’d probably never wear them. I rarely wear heels at $238 [ x ]

I love finding new stores

I don’t know how I ended up stumbling upon Life is Short…Buy the Shoes blog but I did and I’m happy I did, because on May 5 — cinco de mayooo ow ow margaritaaaah day. She posted an outfit that she was wearing and also where it was bought from. What the store is like is similar to an Anthropolgie store but with a lot lower prices — it’s called Francesca’s Collections. I only browsed through the site quickly, so I don’t know if they ship to Canadians

Here’s a list of things which I think are cute:

Reminder necklace $18 [ x ]

This whole outfit [ x ]

Kinda love this sweater. Do I have to hold it together though with my arms? I’m not sure if it “closes” properly. It’s so hard to tell since there’s only one view of it. Best yet? It’s $28!! [ x ]

The store even sells cute little jeans! [ x ]

Yellow purse!!! [ x ]

Lust list

It’s been a while since I did an online shop lust-list, so to speak! Since I got my tax refund and people generously give me monies to spend for my b-day, I wanted to look around online for some stuff before I go out and hit the stores.

Banana Republic has some beauty pieces as of late. Check out my favorites:

I love layering these sort of tanks under a cardy or even show off with a bit of accessories.

Like this! Except I don’t want mine to have buttons, and I want it to be grey. Why can’t I find one in stores that I like?

I think I found one! Except I don’t like the collar on it. I love the color of this cardigan though. Do you? Lol

That’s where I get all my ideas for my wardrobe. I go online to look at what they’re wearing and what they’re paring it with and I go from what I have in my own closet. It’s like, shopping at home!! Wish I was a bit more comfortable wearing this to work, like a jacket and all? I can’t find a jacket that looks nice on my body. But look at these ladies. They’re sportin’ ’em well:

J Crew is another fav of mine, except I only buy when they have free shipping otherwise it’s retarded at how much it costs to get to me in Canada. Pssst. They have nice cashmere! It’s the only thing I really own from them. One sweater… but it’s niiice.

I could totally wear this to work.

I like this shirt. Hate what its paired with.

Anyway that’s all I have for now.

What are some of your favorite stores to window shop, or buy from?
